Hi! I’m Emily,
a vet & small-holder
Caring for my beloved goats, hens & tortoises, I soon discovered the confusing world of worms
If I - as a vet - didn't know how best to worm my animals - how did all the other smallholders cope?
Now, I've studied all the clinical research, and armed with my trusty microscope - I can help others manage their livestock, equines & poultry worming plans
Send me some poo & I'll give you WEC results you can understand & together we'll make a plan bespoke to you
The aim is reduced chemical use & together we can combat drug-resistance -
taking wormer use as seriously as antibiotics
Goats Sheep Alpaca Pigs Cattle Donkeys Horses Poultry
How does it work?
WEC: Worm Egg Count
It couldn't be simpler for me to discover if your animal needs worming:
Samples arrive in the post each day (lucky postman!)
I soak & filter samples in a special solution
Worm eggs float to the top
Lungworm larvae sink to the bottom
I examine these under the microscope
By e-mail, we'll discuss your animals, their health & your husbandry - making a bespoke plan perfect for you
Testing to ensure successful treatment is free of charge after 3 weeks
With-in 14 days, a simple to use email will arrive with a click-on button to pay online

As a vet, I've noticed increasing amounts of drug resistance in many species.
I am always happy to check a post-treatment poo sample free of charge if you would like to be sure the infection has gone.
